What can you possibly do to get through the loss of a loved one more easily? Are there words that can comfort? The loss of a beloved person leaves deep scars behind, and life seems to be changed forever. In a bad way.
We crave for hearing the familiar voice again, to hug them for the last time, to say the words we never did.. We all crave for a chance to meet them at least once more.
Some people believe that sometimes, the deceased attempt to contact us from the great beyond. Many spiritual people, authors, psychics, and ordinary people claim they have experienced some things that they potentially attribute to deceased loved ones.
Even though these beliefs are not scientifically proven, a lot of people believe that our departed friends and family members sometimes nearby long after their deaths.
These are the signs that indicate that your loved one is trying to reach out:
1. You can sense them
You might suddenly feel cold, or get goosebumps all over the body. Some people just know when they are in the presence of their deceased loved one.
Make sure you listen carefully when you have vivid and recurring dreams of your loved one, saying the same thing over and over again.
Dreams are the most common way in which we meet them. When we sleep, our vibrational energy rises and matches the higher energy, possessed by spirits.
3. Feeling their presence at funerals
With the memories still fresh in your head, while you are mourning at funerals, the soul of your loved one might attempt to reach you.
Sometimes, you might even feel like someone is touching you or caressing on your skin. Psychic James Van Praagh claims that many people often attend their funerals to confront their loved ones and console them.
Animals are very sensitive to higher energies. If your pet behaves strangely for no apparent reason, it might feel the presence of the deceased in the room.
Seeing the numbers that signified something in your relationship, a birthday, or an anniversary, might be a sign that they are using these numbers to contact you.
6. Seeing them in your peripheral vision
While you are engrossed in deep thoughts about your loved one, you might feel that you have seen them in your peripheral vision, and often look around you and see nobody there.
7. You lose objects or find them in odd places
This also means that your loved one is trying to communicate with you. They might hide a photo of you two together, or a gift they gave to you.
You might think it is just a coincidence, but when you think of your loved one, and you hear your song, from the phone, on the TV or the radio, your loved one might be trying to communicate with you.
In most cases, getting the chance to feel the presence of someone you have lost is a therapeutic way to cope with the pain.
A study that involved elderly widows and widowers in Wales found that 39 percent kept feeling their presence, 14 percent reported seeing them, 13 percent said they heard voices, and 3 percent felt their touch.
Professional medium, energy worker, and author, Kerrie Erwin, claims that the ability to communicate with dead people is a gift:
“When I connect to a spirit I often get names, how they died, and they often just want to give me messages to loved ones as death is never the end and love is eternal. It is not unusual to have long conversations about their concerns with living in this life. Spirits also always have messages to give loved ones.”
There are certain ways in which you can reach out to your deceased loved ones too:
Try to communicate with them via meditation or in your dreams
Visit a medium or use them as an intercessor to contact them on your behalf
Speak out loud to them
Take an object that was once theirs and engage in deep thinking about them
Rebecca Rosen, the author of “What the Dead Have Taught Me About Living Well”, claims:
“Setting the intention to be open to the signs is your best strategy for noticing them. While they may feel small and easy to dismiss at first, signs from the Other Side often increase in frequency and size when they are focused on and acknowledged.”
